The Siyum Begins!

The outside yard where the writing took place was JAMMED. I had to "elbow" my way up to the Sofer's tent in order to get photos.

Some neighborhood ladies who got there early. Getting there early was the only way for the women to have a seat behind the food table. The entire sidewalk and street was packed with women who couldn't get up the stairs through the crowd to the front yard. I couldn't leave my post to get a photo of them....I'd never make it back in!
